Do you ever find yourself in that bad rushed "Must Find Furniture for Today" place? Some retail furniture shops are making sustainable design products easily accessible to the public. In one afternoon shop I was able to find great shops with not only great looking but also are responsible choices.
Tucked right under the Bay Bridge in Oakland is the modest studio of Paul Discoe and Live Edge. He is an ordained Buddhist Priest and well as a master builder trained at the Zen Mountain Center in California. I had the pleasure of working with Paul on the Brower Center in Berkeley on the furniture pieces and was so pleased to have these incredibly crafted pieces on our project.
