Linoleum is made from natural ingredients. Linseed oil is obtained by pressing flaxseed, and it is dried and ground into a powdery binder. Then it is combined with limestone, which is extremely abundant, pine rosin, and cork and wood flours to form the material to which color is added.
Natural linoleum is available in tiles and sheets. It can be used in flooring as well as for countertop applications. It may be installed using adhesives. Make sure you use an adhesive that is solvent-free.
Some of the advantages are: made of natural Ingredients, off-gassing from natural oils, renewable and biodegradable, and durable and self-healing. It is a great product, and you should consider next time you need a flooring and/or countertops product.
