I am in the process of updating my syllabus my Sustainable Interiors Class and I always like to include the best websites for sustainable design. Every year there are new sites launched that just get better and better for the evaluation of sustainable products.
One that I particularly love is ecoscorecard... It's an online resource where you can look at products and not only break down what their product is made up of, but also you are able to understand how this product contributes to LEED Credits among other criteria. This is the basic overview of it... You select a product or products from a manuf. that has signed up with their site (which is a bit limited). Once you have selected your products, you then select from a list of rating systems you would like to evaluate the product.

Once you have selected from the above list, the documentation summary will be listed similar to the image below.

This, my friends, is truly an amazing tool. With all new sites, my only hope is that their product base will continue to grow. Its a bit limited, but the overall concept is so user friendly and makes sustainable design more accessible to the design world.
