I don't know about you, but MY favorite childhood memories involve toys that were creative, used imagination, and allowed for multiple uses in a variety of ways. Now you can combat the explosion of static, unimaginative plastic toys with sustainable cardboard kits that are easy to use, kid-friendly and eco-friendly!
CardboardDesign uses 100% recycled cardboard sourced in the USA that is much thicker than standard shipping boxes to make their fun play sets so they hold up to kid-play. No glue, tape or other fasteners are used, only a tab and slot system that allows playsets to be reconfigured and reused again and again. They are completely chemical-free as well.

There are a number of great designs, including an airplane that could be made into a Halloween costume, a dollhouse that is just perfect for aspiring young interior designers, a fort, a teepee and even a lemonade stand! Everything can be colored, painted or customized by your kids for a fun rainy-day project.
But don't feel left out, there are cardboard furniture designs for adults, too! Desks, shelves, tables, chairs, all can be assembled with no glue, screws, nails or fuss and are both recycled and recyclable. Check out their new "liquid cardboard technology" that allows you to design vases and other useful and beautiful objects by combining different kits.
And if you think cardboard isn't fashionable, why did the Guggenheim use CardboardDesign to decorate their 2007 Gala to honor Frank Gehry? Event Planner David Monn decked out the place with cardboard tables, chairs, placemats, vases and candleholders and it was all sustainable high-style.
